OBITUARIES
Jennifer A. Kenny, 18
Jennifer A. Kenny, 18, of East
Jordan, joined her heavenly family
on Wednesday, Oct. 7,1998, at
Northern Michigan Hospital in
Petoskey.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m.
Sunday, Oct. 11, at the East Jor-
dan Missionary Church. The Rev.'
Peter A. Elliott, the Rev. Larry
Grooters and pastor James Jordan
will officiate. Interment will be in
Sunset Hill Cemetery, East Jordan.
Jennifer was born June 13,
1980, in Charlevoix, the daughter
of Jon and Laura (Gagnon) Kenny.
Jenni was a very active girl and
she lived her life as a true example
of Christ's words as found in the
New Testament: "And now abide
faith, hope, love, these three; but
the greatness of these is love." 1
Corinthians 13:8-10,13. She
enjoyed many different interests
including fishing, hunting, camp-
ing, boating and playing her har-
monica. She also enjoyed working
at Grandvue Medical Care Facility.
Jenni is survived by her parents,
Jon and Laura Kenny, of East Jor-
dan; her sister, Krista M. Kenny, of
East Jordan; her grandfather, Ken-
neth Gagnon, of East Jordan;
numerous aunts and uncles; and
many teachers, classmates and
friends. She was preceded in
death by her paternal grandpar-
ents, Bud and Ruth Kenny, and by
her maternal grandmother, Lor-
raine Gagnon.
The family will receive friends
from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Satur-
day, Oct. 10, at the Paullin-Pen-
zien Funeral Home in East Jordan.
Memorials, may, be given to the
Down Syndrome Society or to the
Gideon Society Bible Fund .
