Gladys H. Zellers, 90
Funeral service for Gadys H. Zellers, 90, of East Jordan, will be 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 27, at the Oak Chapel of the Vanderwall Funeral Home, East Jordan. The Rev. James Duncan of the East Jordan Missionary Church will officiate. Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery, East Jordan.
Mrs. Zellers died Dec. 24, 1985, at Grandvue Medical Care Facility, East Jordan.
The former Gladys Halleck was born Nov. 20, 1895, at Lake Village, Ind. She attended school and graduated from Rensselaer High School, Rensselaer, Ind. in 1913.
She married Leslie C. Zellers on May 1, 1920 and the couple resided in the Detroit area and later in Rochester for 40 years, moving to East Jordan in 1977.
Mr. Zellers preceded her in death Dec. 2, 1980.
Mrs. Zellers was a member of the senior citizens group in East Jordan and often played the piano at the Senior Citizens Center.
She is survived by two sons, E. Howard Zellers andOrville (Ray) Zellers, both of Rochester; one daughter, Mrs. Donald (Gail) Dickerson of Tucson, Ariz.; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Vanderwall Funeral Home until 9 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. to time of service on Friday.
