Nancy Delia Vance, 89
Nancy Delia Vance, 89, of East Jordan, died May 6, 1996, at Charlevoix Area Hospital.
Funeral will be 1 p.m. Friday, May 10, at the Paullin-Penzien Funeral Home in East Jordan. The Rev. Merlin K. Delo will officiate and burial will follow in Sunset Hill Cemetery, East
Jordan.
Nancy was born Jan. 25, 1907, in Newport, Ark., the daughter of Lewis E. and Lou Ethel (Osborne) Shirley.
On Sept. 7, 1929, she married Maurice V. Vance in Flint. He preceded her in death on Nov. 6, 1984.
Mrs. Vance enjoyed watching birds.
She is survived by her son, Maurice "Keith" Vance and his wife, Marlene, of Jupiter, Fla.; two grandchildren, Eric Vance and his wife, Terri, of Houston, Texas, and Marianne Carver and her husband, Tom, of Orlando, Fla.; one sister, Ruth Wayland, of Piggott, Ark.; and by several
nieces and nephews, as well as her loving caregiver, Marie Richards, of East Jordan.
The family will receive friends 5-8 p.m. today, May 9, at the Paullin-Penzien Funeral Home in East Jordan.
