Christel B. Long, 58
Christel B. Long, 58, of East Jordan, died Feb. 14, 1991, at Bortz Health Care of Petoskey.
Funeral is scheduled 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, at the Paullin Funeral Home, East Jordan. The Rev. Robert L. Herbon will officiate and interment will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery, East Jordan.
Mrs. Long was born Nov. 22, 1932, in Berlin, Germany, the daughter of Willy and Berta (Kaping) Krauter. She moved to Michigan in 1940 and worked as a bookkeeper for Carey's IGA in East Jordan.
She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, sewing and cooking.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Rosel Bousson, and a nephew, Christopher Carlson.
Memorials to the East Jordan Ambulance Fund are suggested. Envelopes for that purpose are available at the Paullin Funeral Home where friends may call 7-9 p.m. today and from 10 a.m. to time of service on Saturday.
