Warren J. Forster, 63
Funeral for Warren J. Forster, 63 of East Jordan, will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 8, at the Vanderwall Funeral Home, East Jordan. The Rev. Arthur Mulka of St. Joseph Catholic Church will officiate. Interment will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery, East Jordan.
Mr. Forster died July 4, 1986, at Little Traverse Division, Northern Michigan Hospitals.
He was born Aug. 28, 1922, in St. Charles and was a veteran of World War II, serving with the U.S. Army.
On June 18, 1944, he married the former Patricia Patterson at Gulfport, Miss. The couple lived in Inkster and Cheboygan before moving to Mancelona in 1970 and to East Jordan in 1977.
Mr. Forster had been a supervisor with the Michigan Employment Security Commission for many years.
Survivors include: his wife; five sons, Kim of Essexville, Leo and Pete of Anchorage, Alaska, Chuck of Alpena and Tom of Mancelona; three daughters, Suzanne Tryck of Anchorage, Kathy Sullivan of Sandusky, Ohio, and Molly Forster of East Jordan; nine grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home until 9 p.m. today.
