Ivar O. lversen, 83

     Ivar O. Iversen, 83, of East Jordan, died March 12, 1991, at Grandvue Medical Care Facility, East Jordan.

     Funeral will be 11 a.m. Friday, March 15, at the Evangelical Lutheran Church, East Jordan. The Rev. Robert Herbon will officiate and burial will be in Sunset Hill
Cemetery, East Jordan

     Mr. Iversen was born Feb. 18, 1908, in Frankfort, the son of Edward and Mette Iversen.

     On May 22, 1929, he married the former Ruby Worch in Arcadia.

     Mr. Iversen grew up in Frankfort and lived there until 1952. He then moved to East Jordan where he and his wife owned and operated CaI's Restaurant and Bar from 1952-72.

     He was a life member of the Frankfort Masonic Lodge, F.&A.M.; a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in East Jordan and he enjoyed woodworking.

     Survivors include his wife; one son, Edward Iversen of Troy; one daughter, Mrs. Charles (Wanda) Ford of East Jordan; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren;
one sister, Emma Hibbard of East Jordan.

     He was preceded in death by one brother, Alf Iversen.

     Memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society or to Grandvue Medical Care Facility.  Envelopes for memorials are available at the Paullin Funeral Home in East Jordan where friends may call 2-9 p.m. today (Thursday).
