Johanna J. Mobley, 88
Johanna Jean Mobley, 88, of East Jordan, died May 21, 1989, at Otsego Memorial Hospital, Gaylord.
Funeral will be 11 a.m. Thursday, May 25, at the Paullin Funeral Home, East Jordan. Gene Mickey will officiate and burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery, East Jordan.
The former Johanna Jean Rydberg was born April 5, 1901, in Excel Township, Marshall County, Minnesota, the daughter of Frans E. and Marit M. Rydberg.
She married Guy Nelson Mobley in California and he preceded her in death on March 17, 1976.
Mrs. Mobley was a former worker at Hutzel Hospital in Detroit.
She enjoyed sewing and fishing and had resided in East Jordan for more than 20 years.
Mrs. Mobley is survived by her twin sister, Mrs. Caroline Haralampus of Portland, Ore.; many nieces and nephews.
The family suggests memorials to the American Cancer Society. Envelopes for that purose are available at the Paullin Funeral Home where friends may call after 6 p.m. Wednesday and from 9 a.m. Thursday until time of service.
