Marjorie M. Gee, 64
Funeral services for Mrs. Marjorie M. Gee, 64, of 213 Elizabeth St., East Jordan, will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 23, at the Oak Chapel of Vanderwall Funeral Home. Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Gee died Aug. 20, 1983, at Grandvue Medical Care Facility.
The former Marjorie Maud Puckett was born March 8, 1919, in Mancelona Township, Antrim County. She married Earl C. "Whizz" Gee at East Jordan, April 27, 1933. They always made their home in East Jordan. Mr. Gee preceded her in death Jan. 31, 1892.
Mrs. Gee was an avid bowler and a member of the United Methodist Church and the American Legion Auxiliary.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. William (Ruth). Tryon of Boyne City, four sons, Carl M., Garey (Buzz), Earl C. Jr. and John E., all of East Jordan; nine grandchildren; one great-grandson; her mother Mrs. Alice Puckett Green of Grand Rapids; two sisters, Mrs. AIice Dempsey of Muskegon and Mrs. Ray (Elsie) Sweet of Davidson; two half-sisters, Ila of Grand Rapids and Martha of Garden City.
The family suggests memorials to the East Jordan Ambulance Fund. Envelopes for that purpose are available at Vanderwall Funeral Home where friends may call until 9 p.m. today.
