Funeral services for Mrs. Donna Louise Gee, 46, former ,East Jordan resident, will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at the Oak Chapel of Vanderwall Funeral Home. Rev. Phill Simmons of the East Jordan United Methodist Church will officiate and burial will be in the Gee family plot at Sunset Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Gee died approximately Aug. 13, 1983, at her home in Toledo, Ohio.
The former Donna Louise Durga was born March 19, 1937, in Grawn. She graduated from Traverse City High School in 1955 and on Aug. 21, 1956, was married to Ray E. Gee. The couple lived in East Jordan and Traverse City before moving to Toledo 17 years ago. Mr. Gee preceded her in death July 20, 1981.
Mrs. Gee had been employed as a hospital aide at Toledo Mental Health Center and more recently was employed by a company which allowed her to do computer work in her home.
She was a member of the Presbyterian Church in Toledo.
Survivors include her father and step-mother, Walter A. and Hope Durga of Traverse City; a brother, Donald E. Gee of Traverse City, a step-sister, Mrs. Bill (Beverly) Scott of Rapid City; three step-brothers, Douglas and Arlie Patterson, both of Traverse City and Gerald Patterson of Suttons Bay.
Friends may call at Vanderwall Funeral Home until 9 p.m. Friday.
