Obituary

CUTLER, FLOYD

 Floyd "Chief" Cutler, age 76, went to be with his Lord on Friday, January 10, 2014. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Elena Cutler; his brothers, Monroe, Cliff, Don, Dale and infant brother, Richard; and his sisters, Angie Pyne, Suzanne Miles and Patsy Young. Floyd will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 53 years, Georgia Cutler (Derenzy); his children, Kevin (Denise) Cutler, Kelly Cutler-Shafer, Karla (Jake) Hobert; his ten grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; his siblings, Robert (Judy) Cutler, John Cutler, Elna Jean Wakeman, Shirley (Al) Firovich; his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Bob and Deana Danforth and Don and Beverly Derenzy; and many nieces, nephews and friends. Floyd worked many years in refrigeration and driving truck. He was a member of the Moose Lodge in Wyoming. Floyd and Georgia have lived in their house in Byron Center for over 47 years. He loved to spend time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Floyd also enjoyed working on cars, golf, bowling, softball, hunting, fishing and living the "High Life." A time for relatives and friends to visit with Floyd's family will be held from 2-4 and 7-9 PM Thursday at Cook Funeral Home in Byron Center, 2067 - 84th St. SW. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Friday at Christ Lutheran Church, 2350 44th St. SW. In honor of Floyd, contributions may be made to Faith Hospice.
