Wilbur Deters, 68, of East Jordan, died Feb. 5, 1983 at his East Jordan home.
The body is at the Vanderwall Funeral Home in East Jordan, awaiting funeral arrangements.
Mr. Deters was born Nov. 24, 1914, in LaGrange, Ind., and had resided in East Jordan for the past 15 years. He had most recently been employed at Slough's Scrap Yard in East Jordan.
Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Ethel McKenzie of Kalamazoo and Mrs. William (Caroline) Berlingcourt of Allegan.
