Mrs. Carol "Connie" Crowell McGowan, 92, of Franklin, NC passed away Wednesday, May 7th, 2025.

Mrs. Connie McGowan was born August 8, 1932, in East Jordan, MI to the late Merle Crowell and Gwendolen Empy Crowell.

Mrs. Connie was of the Methodist and Presbyterian faiths. A homemaker, Mrs. McGowan was a great wife, mother, and friend. She loved to bird watch and enjoyed the North Carolina mountains. An avid quilter, Connie was a member of the Smoky Mountain Quilting Guild and proficient in a variety of needle work. She also enjoyed photography.

Mrs. McGowan is survived by her daughter, Terrie McGowan and several nieces and nephews. In addition to parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John J. McGowan and her son, Michael McGowan.

A private gathering will be held at a later date.
